This is a song that is about the flop house I kind of lived on up Laurel Canyon when I used to live here, when I just was living a very listless, wild, and completely free life here. And all of my friends, and we were so young and just idiots and drunk and didn't have a care, didn't give a f*ck. And since I wrote there's, and since I lived there everybody's lives have changed.
