I wanted a song that had a big kind of like explosive, climax type thing, that started on like the one-major - I don't know if I'm using the right terminology here, but, y'know, C Major basically - without sounding cheesy or overly silly. I wanted to use a chord progression that felt triumphant, but also a little happy. And, I loved the Imaginary Cities vocal… yeah."
