Wichikapache Fights Current lyrics
by Deerhoof
[Verse 1]
Again he was blind
Still he walked alone
He came upon a stream, tripped, and rolled in
Soon, the people who owned the deer head went after it
They saw it floating by in the stream
One old woman took a heavy club and went for the deer floating by
One old man was going to whistle loud in the deer's ears
One young man said, "Get that deer floating by!"
Wichikapache got out of the stream but tripped again, fell against some rocks
The club woman came running
The whistling man came running
[Verse 2]
He came upon some geese
He said, "Little brothers, make me a goose"
"Too difficult", one said
"No, do this for me," Wichikapache said
"Do this for me!"
"Alright," one goose said
He received these instructions:
"Whenever you see people, fly"
[Outro]
They dove
They rattled teeth and talked
Then they flew up into the air
Wichikapache flew lower
