dxvxdx: hii! are you ready for this interview? 😀

justloveJB: yes!!! i've changed a lot since my last interview (last year)

dxvxdx: nice! first of all, do you like dark chocolate? why or why not?

justloveJB: i like lots of chocolates! really it just depends on the brand. although, i wouldn't say it's my favorite kind.

dxvxdx: mmkay, for me dark chocolate it's like work of the devil, but whatever! so, let's do a comeback to your last interview with ♱pantherr♱: you said you mostly listen to pop music, but NOT "taylor swift pop". what's your type of pop? and why not taylor? (i agree with you btw)

justloveJB: i listen to a lot of lesser known artists. some of thе artists i listen to are popular, but not really. as statеd in my profile's bio, i listen to Joshua Bassett, Laufey (which isn't quite "pop" per se), The Black Keys (which is rock but whatever), Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Thomas Day, and a bunch of other stuff.

as for the Taylor Swift, i used to enjoy some of her older music when i was younger, but i eventually decided it sucked (no offense to any swifties out there!). i really don't like her music. like, at all. but i'm friends with tons of people who like her music. so im cool with swifties, im just definitey not one myself.

dxvxdx: yeah, i agree with you. i just can't explain why people love her so much. you've mentioned a lot of artists but WE ALL KNOW who is your favorite one… what's your favorite song by JB?

justloveJB: OOF. why you gotta ask me that? 😭
i gotta say either the entirety of his Sad Songs In A Hotel Room EP or his Different EP bc they are both just sooooooo gooddd

dxvxdx: lol i knew it would be hard to answer that.. 😆 do you have any hobbies? (Genius excluded)

justloveJB: well besides singing and songwriting, i play a couple instruments (violin, acoustic & electric guitar), i participate in acting/theatre (as cast ofc!), sometimes i doodle or draw, and my main "hobby" is just overall music. creating and enjoying it.

dxvxdx: wow, you're so much into music! that is so cool! and ofc you do stuff here on Genius! what's your biggest goal?

justloveJB: hmm… to make a community where people have something to go to when they need support. whether that's through my music or just through people.
in the world, my goal is to make a difference for someone.

dxvxdx: love that! personally, my biggest goal in the world it's just being good with myself and then help people in any way. i see that you participate at lots of topic of Get Involved!: which was your favourite one so far this year?

justloveJB: hmm… i'd probably have to say all of them haha

dxvxdx: haha, cool! in your opinion, who are the GOATs, the kings/queens, the best users of Genius?

justloveJB: oof. that is hard.

a lot of my friends use genius, but i wouldn't say they're necessarily "good" at it, y'know? i'd probably say Daktar, shark, and HouseMusicFan1442.

dxvxdx: i totally agree with you for the last two! what do you think about GRAMMYs? did you like em this year?

justloveJB: i uh… kinda didn't watch them haha 😅
to be fair, i was probably listening to or making music sooo

dxvxdx: yayy, chappell really deserved that! and talking about listening to music… which 2025 release are you the most excited for? and why?

justloveJB: hmm… none right now, but i'd be happy if any of the artists i like dropped something. The Black Keys or Laufey would be really good. and of course, Joshua Bassett, but he just released an album in July, sooo yeah.

i did see that Ben Rector is releasing a new album soon, and his music is pretty cool. i don't listen to him, but my mom does.

dxvxdx: mmkay. in my case, Doja Cat, Doechii and Olivia Rodrigo are expected to drop a new album this year and I AM SO READY!
