In the beginning, "Sugar Babe" was a vague idea on an acoustic that I had in a hotel room
And it turned into a powerful electric riff in the studio
But in this first recording, it's just a small seed of an idea
I had images of Arkansas and Louisiana in my head, and a melody line that was floating over the undefined guitar part
Eventually, the fog lifted and it got defined on the stage and in the studio, and that's what you hear
