Spaghetti lyrics
by Julia Stone
Spaghetti.
Circle, circle, round, circle.
He goes and she goes, walk right up and round.
Round pendulum swinging,
And it's beginning to look a lot like
Christmas.
White,
Strike 1, 2,
And me.
You’re out.
~
He'd go wherever she goes, you go, she goes.
Going past the clouds.
Through the rip in the sky so high.
Brown and orange, orange is loose and warm and ripples like juice.
Cools you,
Aids you.
~
Whisper in my ear, whisper me secrets make me warm in my senses tingle.
That first night when I saw your skin gleaming,
And your eyes were beaming.
Whisperer me okays and loves and happinesses.
Whisperer me the plural of love,
Durable are spacious contagious as if I'm locked in the basement filled with water,
That last bit of air is eating me from the inside out.
~
Take it away from me hehehe don’t laugh at he,
He's human and trying.
Trying too long and hold and close in.
In and in.
Inside of you pouring in.
Street night light covered from the fog in the night night,
It's like an egg atop a crown.
It fell down and cracked and bent out of shape and began to create.
Something small,
Crawling and yawning and forming.
I growl at it.
Faint-hearted fool I growl at you.
Let me out of this pool.
~
My distaste,
Like rotten toothpaste.
In my mouth yelling out behind my lungs.
No air can get there.
There is far away from here,
From you to me.
Bounce bounce bounce the ball,
Off the wall.
Beating my head against the wall that's far too tall.
~
I'm screaming underwater,
Drowning and yelling.
Aqua in my lungs like jellyfish,
All water and no matter.
Why doesn't it matter?
Why doesn't it matter what I'm supposed to do?
Why can I not hear you?
I’m screaming,
Isolated and alone and blown.
Freezing.
Cracked like dry Earth.
When I speak only healing.
~
That moment,
Hanging in opaque beauty,
The edge of the storm,
Something withdrawn.
