Johann Sebastian Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 is the 2nd of 6 concertos for smal ensemble. The 2nd concerto features 3 solo lines, most notably the trumpet. In modern times the trumpet part is typically performed on a piccolo trumpet to help facilitate the extreme high register required by the piece.
