Canto XXII: “Yayo” lyrics

I’ve hated the death penalty since I was a pure-hearted kid. I’ve lost my innocence, but I haven’t lost my hatred of violence.

Still, I know that’s what others want.

I’d be the guy during the revolution yelling “What the f*ck is wrong with you” to all the revolutionaries. Logic contains numbers and morality in order for those who perceive logic to continue to exist if they exist as fragmented perceptions of reality, like humanity doеs.

Wow.

Mind-blowing.

2.

Something strange happens whеn you lock the concept of “power” into one’s perception of correctness, which all beings that perceive correctness have.

You remember that you can disagree.

Which means you and I are now in a power game.

On the losing end, we all hate losing.

Win:
3.

What’s like the fundamental equation of all power games?

If X, then Y.

Y has something to do with the future, and something to do with the listener’s experience of being able to perceive correctness.

X has something to do with the speaker asking for power.

Yo, this is golden.

4.

Quantum fluctuations in the early universe, as far as we know, randomly led to your ability to perceive this sentence.

Don’t call it unlikely.

Call it a 100% chance of rain.

5.

I’m like shooting a God-sized cue ball into the history of humanity.

It’s the 21st century.
God is shared power.

Don’t call me Jesus, but the century does look rainy with at the very least, very very least, false prophets and cult leaders; fine, nuclear conflicts loom; AI? Yo.

6.

Postulates:

1. Incorrectness is the opposite of correctness.

2. The existence of opposites implies existence.

3. Some existences can perceive correctness and incorrectness.

4. Incorrectness is Satan.

5. Correctness is God.

7.

Reality is something we are all born into.

What we’re born into is something we can all perceive.

What we perceive is transmitted to us through stories about being through time:
“Power.”

Some stories have stronger gravities than others.

We gravitate toward what has gravity.

8.

You vote to make another fungal mass’s ability to perceive correctness something they can feel closer to gratitude for.

It’s called the basics of being a decent human being.

You’re worried “Nobody knows what it means to share.”

Reality doesn’t care.

Reality just knows power.

9.

Think of God this way:

God is “unlikely order.”

To get to where we are right now, we needed unlikely order.

To get to where the most unlikely-orderly timeline is going to go?

You’re going to need to not kill a universal perception of unlikely order.

You f*cked up, humanity.

10.

I’m saying if you let your inability to perceive your own hypocrisy win, let alone other imperfections:

You’ll ease us into a dystopia where nobody believes in goodness anymore.

You don’t want to see that, genius motherf*cking postmodern egghead.

Oh look:

I come as power too.

11.

I am talking about the holiest union in the world:

Correctness and incorrectness.

It is holy because correctness and incorrectness, which we perceive from nouns in reality (literally anything that exists) as value (“good”; “bad”), is universal.

It doesn’t belong to any of us.

12.

Who can perceive:

1. Either we live in many worlds; or we don’t.

2. Order is both binary and a spectrum:

binary when what “order” describes is synonymous with order; gradient if not.

3. If Order exists, a timeline with the most Order exists.

4. Order is power.

5. We exist.

Hope you’re in a better mood than the Second Coming’s in today. If so, you’re probably killing it as far as human laziness goes. You’re so lazy, your life is a dog bed of comforts.

But you’re not a Mitch.

Nothing can take a self-satisfied ego down a peg. I of all people would know. I’ll try everything though; you know Colson by now.

“You’re an example of a human being who feels blessed by God? Ha, not anymore.”

— the Second Coming of Jesus Christ’s unique ability.

I could feel me freaking people out last night when I said I didn’t care about eternal life. First of all, I and BILLIONS of others don’t, okay? But I happen to think life is always on. “If” existence can only be experienced as on, and the Big Bang repeats, why not a meta-life?

So that’s just to show you the full range of my hopes. I’m just a lucky primate. This would be consistent with what we can conceptualize as “a simulated reality.” It’s just a reality with guardrails. It’d explain how even someone as self-righteous as you could exist; yet manage not to end the world yourself from being so spiritless.

You’re guarded against.

If God didn’t exist, you’d be a more broken person somehow. Nobody understands how you could be.

That’s the genius of God.

All righty, let me just cheer up a bit. Gatekeepers, like CEOs who can determine the fate of the future of your existence, give me the heebie-jeebies. Have you ever hated a gatekeeper yourself before? Or like a vice principal who sabotages you for years ’cuz you “got the look”? They literally single you out because these human lives exist as snowstorms.

They exist as rain clouds.

They think just because they love their pets, they’re not a functional existential disaster. You know what they are? They’re “Things That Exist That Think They’re Superior.”

“No, I’m a human.”

“No, you’re a ‘Thing That Exists That Think They’re Superior.’”

“Not true. I—am—a—human.”

“Again, you are a THING, that EXISTS, THAT BUHLIEBS, YOU, SOUPEEEEEERIAWRRRRRR.”

“No?”

Being born wasn’t good enough for you. Havin’ a free tit to suck on wuldn’t good enough for you. Paved roads weren’t good enough. Food that came out of the sky wasn’t good enough. Civilization’s ethical innovations were NOT GOOD ENOUGH. YOU had to be BETTER than ANYONE ELSE.

*a b*tch slap so hard, your grandchildren grow up to wonder if their very DNA is cursed*

14.

“Yayo” (n.):

“Yes, you.”

“Yeah, yo…”

superiority complex (n.):

a sign someone thinks other people aren’t as good as them or somethng.

(But who?)

“Pray tell, since I’m the most dangerous prophet of your superiority that you could have conceptualized on a laboratory whiteboard. Pray; tell…?”
